Chevrolet Optra is beyond Luxury and Style

With the advent of Chevrolet India, General Motors created a place for excellence at par car models. Each of its models give power packed performance to match the Indian roads. One of the newest launch by this car manufacturing company is Optra India that live up to the expectation of car lovers. This optra magnum is been designed in the category of luxury cars that tend to make your drive smooth and rolling. After all, it has enough leg room that will allow you to have a comfortable driving experience. Now, you won’t feel that your legs are been tied up at one place. The Chevrolet optra magnum is available in petrol and diesel versions. The petrol version has 1.6 LS and 1.6 LT. On the other hand, the diesel version has 2.0 LS, 2.0 LT and 2.0 MAX.

When the GM thought of designing this car model, it has security, comfort and looks need of their customers in mind. They wanted to give something best-in-class to the masses. It is because of this that they have 4 spoke leather wrapped steering wheel, circular air vents with silver finish and 2 DIN CD MP3 player as plush interiors. Talking about exterior looks, Optra India incorporates almond shaped head lamps, bold and aggressive Chevy grill for style, chrome grip type door handles, outside rear view mirrors with turn indicators and alloy wheels. Along with putting all these features, Chevrolet has given high weightage to safety measures. Dual air bags, 5 MPH impact proof bumpers, anti-lock braking system, warning lamps and integrated rear fog lamps are the ones to provide tension free driving.

Buy cars in India

Gone are the days when the Fiat and the Ambassador were seen in the streets in India. Now the Indian car market is flooded with world class brands and top automobile manufacturers are giving increasing stress on providing better after sales service to its customers. So in case you are stepping out to drive your dream machine, there is a plethora of option in front of you.

The D Segment cars are those which are available at a price below Rs 5 lakhs. This segment was being predominantly ruled by the Tata and Maruti and the Hyundai. But with the introduction of Chevrolet Spark and Aveo U-VA, General Motors India has thrown a tough competition to these heavyweights.

Of late segment C which comprises cars in the price band of Rs 5 lakhs to Rs 10 lakhs has witnessed a phenomenal growth with the launch of ‘General Motors’ Chevrolet SRV, Chevrolet Aveo, Hyundai Accent, Hyundai Verna, Ford Ikon, Ford Fiesta et al.

Segment B, that ranges between Rs. 10 laks to Rs 15 lakhs, is primarily dominated by the diesel cars like Scoda Octavia, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla and the recently launched Chevrolet Optra Magnum and Optra Platinum to heat up the competition.

Segment A ranging from Rs. 15 lakhs and above, however, is ruled by Daimler Chrysler, and with the launch of its M Class its has further strengthened its position in this segment. Amongst other players Honda CRV, Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata are few of the worth mentioning names here.

Car Dealers in Delhi

With cut throat competition witnessed by top automobile manufacturers in India after the slew of new car launches, car companies are giving increasing stress on providing better after sales service to its customers.

General Motors India (GM India) has expanded its dealership network to 95 sales points and over 110 service centres so far. GM India is in the process of appointing more dealers and authorized service outlets in urban and semi-urban cities to widen its network. By end of this year, the company intends to put in place 120 sales points and an equal number of service outlets across the country.

With Hyundai Motor India Ltd. is now looking to speedily ramp up its dealer network to push sales for the increased production. HMIL reportedly had 167 dealers in January 2007, and plans to expand its network to 250 by December 2007. Maruti Udyog Limited is one of the companies in India had 1545 listed Authorized service stations and 30 Express Service Stations on 30 highways across India.
