The launch of the new Spark – Spark LPG

It is ‘value for money’ that a buyer looks for when choosing to buy a car. In the small car segment, the Spark, introduced in the year 2007, has already created ripples with its eye-catching design, sporty interiors and innovative features. This is the car that has emerged as the people’s car - a great value for money scheme in its segment. With the service schemes and 3 years/100000 km warranty that it comes with, adding more value, people are opting more for this brand rather than other brands. And GM has again launched the brilliant small car – the new Spark – in the LPG variant in June 2009. This heralded a new era in the small car segment; in fact, GM has been known world over for innovation and the new Spark is its true representation.

The Spark LPG is available in two models, viz. 1.0L PS LPG and 1.0L LS LPG. The conception of offering a factory-fitted LPG kit is adopted by GM to rope in more customers and the endeavor did bring good outcomes. This is evident with the increasing number of the new Spark on the roads. The LPG is well integrated with the engine; when not using LPG, one can use petrol. The new Spark LPG is different to the standard in terms of beige interiors and Certified Factory Fitted Next Generation Sequential Injection-type LPG kit. This is a new engine-friendly and user-friendly kit compared to the conventional types introduced in the market.
